Molinos Afau, S.L. is a company specialised in the design, manufacturing and installation of complete plants for the processing of forage, biomass, animal feed, compost, digestate and other agroindustrial products.
Founded in 1978, the company has more than four decades of experience developing industrial solutions for cooperatives and private projects.
Since its beginnings, the company has worked directly on real production facilities, gaining in-depth knowledge of industrial processes and long-term operational requirements. This experience has led to the development of in-house machinery manufacturing and the delivery of complete turnkey plants.
Afau develops each project from initial engineering to commissioning, integrating design, manufacturing, assembly and validation under a single industrial control.
The company operates over 10,000 m² of its own production facilities, where the equipment that forms part of each plant is manufactured and assembled. This internal capability ensures technical consistency, quality control and on-time delivery.
Our in-house laboratory allows us to validate materials, products and processes in advance of industrial implementation, adjusting technical parameters and ensuring the real performance of each installation.
The acquisition of Dutch Dryers has strengthened our expertise in industrial drying and expanded the group’s technological capabilities.
In addition, the creation of MQ Agro in Malanquilla, a dedicated validation plant under real production conditions, enables us to transfer direct practical experience to every new project.
